Battletech: Tactics 2 – Unofficial Errata

Description

The BTCCG Unofficial FAQ Appendix 4 contains recommended changes to 8 cards from the base game. These changes, designed with community input, exist to reduce the power of over-powered deck archetypes, and to fix certain cards whose wording was in error.

Modified for Clarity
* Double Overtime: “Scrap this card when it is revealed” added.
* Severed Supply Lines: “deploys” replaced with “activates” for clearer functionality

Balanced for Tournament Play
* Blitzkrieg Elemental Point: By far the most powerful EP, its cost is raised from 1 to 2.
* Dasher D Fire Moth: Unbanned but recosted.
* Hasty Alliance: Only fetches “characters” – so it cannot fetch Task Force Serpent (or Legacies, or High Commands)
* Sandhurst Royal Military Academy: When you use Sandhurst on a Unit, it is considered piloted, so you cannot use multiple Sandhursts on the same Unit.
* Solaris Contacts: No longer allows youto play Unique Pilots. The “valid Unit” wording has no effect unless ou are playing BTT 2 – it is there to allow Solaris Contacts to play non-Mech Pilots.
* Task Force Serpent: Now removed from the game when revealed, instead of simply scrapped.

This set has 54 cards, as we have endeavoured to provide cards in relative counts that the player will find useful, given the constraints of printing. In this set you will find:

8 copies each of Hasty Alliance and Solaris Contacts
10 copies of Double Overtime
12 copies of Blitzkrieg EP
