Battletech: Tactics 2 – Modified Mercenary Reprints

Description

The Battletech CCG never quite got Mercenary Contracts right. BT Tactics 2 modifies the basic Mercenary Contract behavior in two ways:
Firstly, 5 or more *structure* damage (or the Unit being entirely scrapped) is required to scrap the Contract. This adds meaning to Contracts that give bonus armor.
Secondly, if you choose not to pay the upkeep cost of the Contract, it is simply restocked. This no longer represents a failure to pay what is owed. Instead it represents a choice to no longer retain the mercenary company’s services.
As part of the release of BTT 2, we take these changes and apply them to the existing contracts from the original game, in the hope that these cards will now be more useful for the community.
Additionally we provide an improved copy of Mercenary Relations Division.
This set has 18 cards, including some duplicates – we provide 3 copies each of Northwind Highlanders and the base Mercenary Contract, and 4 copies of Mercenary Relations Division. There is one copy of each Unique contract fromt he base game in this set.

As with all fan-made cards, make sure your opponent is ok with you using them!
